There was such a positive and relaxed atmosphere at the Art Lounge this month. It was more than just an art session – it was a chance to pause, slow down, and enjoy some well-deserved focus time for wellbeing.
Some people chose to sit quietly and colour, while others enjoyed gentle conversation and laughter around the table. New friendships were formed, and for a few, it was also about returning to an old passion for art they hadn’t touched in years.
The atmosphere was supportive and friendly, with helpful instruction guiding us through the creative process. We immersed ourselves in the intricate beauty of floral design, inspired by William Morris. Using vibrant colours, we allowed ourselves to get lost in the details – a perfect way to switch off from the busyness of everyday life.
Workshops like these are about more than art. They’re about connection, self-care, and rediscovering joy in creativity. Whether you come along to learn something new, reconnect with your creative side, or simply relax with others in a welcoming space, there’s a place for you at the Art Lounge.
Our next workshop is on Saturday, 28th September at 2pm, hosted at Impero Lounge.
Come along, bring a friend, and give yourself the gift of time to relax, create, and connect.
