Creativity doesn’t stop when the class ends.

Jan 29, 2026 | Art Workshop, Mental Wellbeing

Mike Rees joined our art class on Sunday and continued working on his painting at home, completing it by Friday – a wonderful example of how creativity can flow beyond the session itself. His finished piece looks amazing, and even more importantly, it reflects time, patience, and personal commitment.

During our conversations, Mike shared how surprising it was to notice just how much time painting takes and how being immersed in the process can slow everything else down. It reminded us of the saying “time and tide wait for no man” – yet creative spaces like art allow us to pause within that movement of time. Adding music, curiosity, and self-encouragement can turn the process into something deeply nourishing.

We love seeing people take what they discover in our sessions and continue exploring it in their own way. That’s where confidence, self-belief, and joy quietly grow.
