At Wednesday’s wellbeing @4Networking event in Bristol, we invited people to imagine they were going to Inner Gym the following day.
We asked them to think about what they would like to do, what they would want to get out of the experience, and how they would like to feel.
Their responses gave us a beautiful insight into what people need and hope for from a wellbeing space.
Clarity and headspace — less overthinking, anxiety and stress, and more focus, clarity and peace of mind.
Time to slow down and relax — a chance to release tension, feel safe, find stillness and give themselves permission to pause.
Confidence and personal growth — building resilience, overcoming fears and barriers, feeling stronger and finding motivation.
Connection without judgement — a welcoming, friendly environment where people can feel comfortable, connect with others and be themselves.
Joy, creativity and fulfilment — opportunities to have fun, explore, notice the little things and leave feeling happier, healthier and more energised.
Some people expressed a desire for inner peace; others wanted confidence, consistency, better relationships, or simply a little space to breathe.
Together, their words help us understand what people would value from Inner Gym: a space to pause, explore, connect, grow and feel more like themselves.
Thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts with us.
What would you hope to gain from a visit to Inner Gym?
